Magnesium Source for Equatorial Plant Varieties and Heirlooms: Some plant varieties and heirlooms that originate from equatorial regions require higher levels of magnesium. The additional source of magnesium in Cal-Mag Amplified enhances chlorophyll production and maximizes photosynthesis. When fortified with calcium and magnesium, plants exhibit lush green leaves which result in a bountiful yield of heavy fruits.

Foliar Application Recommended: A foliar application is also highly advised as it provides plants with direct sources of calcium necessary to strengthen cell walls through the apolplast pathway. This process liberates mobile calcium for fruit set. It is perfect to spray when the sun is first rising or as it's setting for the night to ensure stomata are fully dilated.
